Grand Rotana Resort is an amazing 5-star resort in Shark Bay, huge and offers accommodation in a very wide variety of types – standard rooms with a view of the garden or pool, upgraded rooms with a sea view just a stone’s throw from the private beach, and also luxury villas with a private pool that, of course, overlooking the sea. The central pool of the hotel is huge and is about the size of 3 standard Olympic pools, surrounded by manicured tropical gardens and waterfalls that pass between them. There is also an infinity pool overlooking the sea. The entire environment is maintained to a high standard and very clean, including the large private beach with lots of seating areas and sunbeds. Near the beach, there is also an amphitheater with performances and entertainment evenings by the hotel staff. Of course, the hotel also has a spa, a state-of-the-art gym, several restaurants, bars, and several standard tennis courts.
